Patmos

A meteorite falls on a rural town, and a composer scoring a sci-fi film rents a room from an astronomer whose son, eight, is mute. She is running from what lies behind her; he dreads what lies ahead. In a fragile present a wary closeness grows between two wounded people, circling each other with a pull that could wreck or heal.
