Waiting

Big, a heavy cross-dresser, and the slight Little have long shared the routines of a boarding house in inner Melbourne, until Little's expected inheritance sparks dreams of buying a home that worry Big. Meanwhile Little's cousin Angus, a loner who designs council lakescapes and fireproof houses for bushfire country, meets Jasmin, an academic absorbed in semiotics whose private life has stalled. Each of the four is waiting for something.
