Nog lang geen winter

Simon is a photographer with a worldwide reputation, but no happiness to match. On the eve of a trip to Italy, where he is to scatter what remains of his former partner Carla, a fortune suddenly lands in his account. Chatting with the bank late at night, he is interrupted by a stranger who says he too is trapped on an 'experience holiday' in a life he never lived. Romy, the daughter Carla bore him in the late 1980s and who has a disability, cut him off long ago; after a decade without contact she reaches out because he seems changed, and she joins him in searching for a way back.
