Miehiä ja ihmisiä

His first summer job puts a seventeen-year-old among the burly men of a metal workshop, where work is often a mess but everyone is sure of their views. To fit in he has to learn their absurd rules of honour. The future looks uncertain; nights are for pastimes both lawful and not, and for tentative first steps in romance and sex. Then his father is taken to hospital, and news reaches him that brings long-kept secrets into the open.
