The second volume of a semi-biographical trilogy about Yonko, known as Chekmo, follows him through new absurd but nearly true adventures of the 1990s. He feels he has escaped the dead ends of home for the world's highways, free to dream and to go as far as he likes, unlike those left behind. Yet he cannot do without Bulgaria, and carries with him an imagined, more beautiful version of it.
