Stakkar

Oskar, a lonely foster boy, works on the Blums' farm for his keep. One day he catches an untamed, stunted child in the forest, almost without language, and brings it home, where under his care it develops at a furious pace. Mixing realism, satire, romance and folk tale, the novel explores exclusion, loneliness, desire and care.
