Kinderwhore

Charlotte's mother is always at home yet never present, sedated and asleep, and when awake brings home a string of new fathers. At twelve, Charlotte lives through something she cannot absorb, then learns that her mother's pills can switch off feelings. Soon she lives at a great distance from herself and others, and the question is whether such a childhood can be escaped.
