Wiele demonów

Just after Stalinism, in Sigła, a small Lutheran town in Cieszyn Silesia, Jula Mrakówna turns up, to general astonishment, with her Catholic fiancé. Who will put them up, since surely not her shaken father, Pastor Mrak? And what happened to her sister Ola, who disappeared mysteriously; the secret police deny taking her. Can Fryc Moitschek, who had a gift even if he was no miracle worker, find her? Who is the man in a black overall who entered the late doctor's villa and never came out? Over it all, questions of life, death, faith and love.
