Оно што одувек желиш

The novel takes the form of a letter from an older brother to a younger one. Slobodan, approaching old age, settles the accounts of his life, and among other things tells of his three-year love affair with his brother's wife. He has come back from the West, where he worked in reality-TV production and learned aggressive media strategies at first hand; behind him also lie a forbidden love and a road accident he caused but was never punished for. Resting in the spa town of Vrnjačka Banja, he is obsessed with television, and scenes from forensic crime series keep breaking into his account and unsettling what counts as reality.
