What a Piece of Work

Told in verse by Dr Peter Cyren, a psychiatrist who takes charge of Sydney's Callan Park asylum at the end of the 1960s. He means to heal the damaged minds in his care, but his own story is a dark one of desire, death and decline, as a man of ambition and appetite slides from bad to far worse.
