그곳

Ever since a summer cloudburst once trapped the narrator in a valley until rescuers came, life has been lived braced for catastrophe: a survival bag stands packed, training builds speed and stamina, and every disaster alert is read at once. In June a long heatwave strains the power supply, and the gym where the narrator trains becomes a heat shelter. A typhoon is approaching with the rainy season, and a bear kept nearby has broken loose.
