The second novel of a trilogy follows Vladan Mitić, called Tatula, one of three friends from Niš: a disabled war veteran and petty dealer of grass and pills. He once spent a year in Amsterdam studying at a prestigious art academy, but in 1991, believing it the only right choice, he came back to Serbia and became a victim of the new Balkan wars. Eight years later, with bombs falling on Niš, he tries to win a girl he is obsessed with, though nothing is as it seems. Around him are friends and odd figures named Jesus, Lilith or Silver Surfer, all trying to live normally, working, partying, smoking, drinking, falling in love and making art.
