Anna and Tom work freely in creative jobs, live in a sunny, plant-filled Berlin flat, love good food and left-wing causes, keep their relationship open and stay out till late morning. Their days look as polished as a social-media feed. Out of frame, though, the work turns repetitive, friends go home, activism dwindles into vague goodwill and years slip by, until the pair feel caught in a life that looks perfect yet is flat, and long for something more real.
