A group of squatters lives in the rooms of an old factory. At its centre is the mysterious Bruna, who suffers from uncontrollable movements of her body and has a huge scar across her face; with her are Ula, the spoilt daughter of a wealthy family of dentists, Jan, a shy gay man, and the level-headed Pero. The tourist season is beginning in the city and they need money to repair the leaking roof, so they hit on the idea of turning one room into a chamber of horrors: they guide tourists into Tito's Room, supposedly haunted by the ghost of the former Yugoslav president, and sell souvenirs made of bone. The room becomes a popular attraction and the money pours in, but it soon turns out that a mysterious supernatural force really does dwell there, and it begins to work on the minds of all the squatters.
