Franklin

Unwanted at home, young Franklin Lowendaal has to shift for himself, moving from institution to grubby bedsit and finally into the orbit of his uncle Charles and Charles's friend Niel. With Michelle, whom he loves, he hopes to leave his history behind. Self-destructive yet irrepressible, he survives on fantasy, defiance and good humour.
