Svinjske nogice

Jani Bevk, an unsuccessful artist who draws pornographic comics, has just moved with his partner Maja and their son Simon into a rented basement boiler room on the outskirts of Ljubljana. After a long wait he gets his first serious commission: a bawdy comic-strip version of a classic Slovene folk hero. But something always gets in the way, from frogs and damp invading the flat to a creative block he tries to break with drugs, above all cocaine he is supposed to be keeping for a friend. He slides into addiction and violence and ends up in hospital. When he recovers, another friend offers him a new start, if he is willing to learn tattooing in Maribor.
