Seeing the Annunciation statue at Reims Cathedral, Zita does not know that a quality she cannot do without has entered her life; she will search for it more urgently the nearer she comes to death. She has much to forget and forgive, above all the unforgivable, and must first meet Stela, a saint and chimera. Three strands, present, remembered and historical, meet in a single moment: the last.
