Baz's life is anything but calm. He works at a newspaper, and for his boss and some extra money he agrees to play a part in a strange beer advertisement. He rents a flat with a friend that unknown people can burst into at any moment. He meets a girl and takes her to spend the night on the roof of a building. He sets off into the unknown, but first has to find someone to look after his cat. And there is still the exam in Life Safety (BZhD) that he cannot pass, because for Baz the subject is life itself, with its scrapes and tests of the will to survive.
