Martinove strune

A family leaves Croatia in search of a better life, and the story is told through those who follow the husband abroad. For his eight-year-old son and his wife, a young, educated woman now without work, the road to the promised land runs through loneliness, fear, unexpected discoveries and friendships, while the goal stays uncertain. In a family still bound by patriarchal habits, she quietly tries to claim room for herself without hurting anyone.
