Pietro Paladini seems a fulfilled man, with an excellent job, a woman who loves him and a ten-year-old daughter. One day, while he is saving the life of a stranger, the unforeseeable happens and everything changes. Pietro takes refuge in his car, parked outside his daughter's school, and for him an era of awakening begins, as mad in its premise as it is fruitful in its results. Watching the world from the spot where he has nailed himself down, he gradually discovers the dark side of others, the bosses, colleagues, relatives and strangers who come to him and give way before his incomprehensible calm.
