A collection of twenty-one stories that try to measure the weight of the soul. Readers turn back time, fly with the wind, lie down in a soft white nothingness, taste a victim's flesh, glimpse a pink flamingo on a bus, and keep losing words they desperately want to find. Across the stories the loudest themes are the ones people hide and claim are other people's problems, while a silence inside everyone shouts more than it speaks, yet still tries to listen.
