Myndin af heiminum

The creation of the world, of Iceland and of humankind are the subjects of this first part of a cycle called a novel of Iceland. Like medieval writers, who began at the very beginning, it lingers at places and moments decisive for the land and its people, while the narrator has to wrestle with the ultimate questions in his own life.
