Tussentijds

Robin, a young father, sets off by train with Mats, his toddler of two, to see his wife Tess, who is working in southern Germany for a while. The route crosses country battered by flooding in a summer of catastrophes. As fields and towns rush by, his drifting thoughts betray a mounting unease: what is the real reason for this trip, and is their marriage as sound as it seems? The couple met at a climate protest and still argue over whether it is fair to give a child a life on this planet. At every stop a different future seems possible.
