Con la muerte en los puños

Baby Cifuentes is a welterweight boxer whose story could be that of many Mexican fighters. He grew up at the very bottom of society and knows little of the world beyond the ring, yet he looks at life with unexpected depth. In his own voice and his own slang, across fifteen chapters called rounds, he goes back over a miserable childhood, his climb to fame and his victories, and then his collapse: a body wearing out, trouble with women and money, drink, drugs and the police.
