Rapines

Gathered at the enoteca Scagliola, the characters invent a world inspired by an unsolved crime, and draw the reader into a dizzying Naples where miracles still happen. P., wandering the city, finds he can only observe it from outside, as if it could not be grasped. Through his search for a story, and its staging, the novel becomes a tour of the backstage of imagination: how a crime narrative is born, what share goes to the true, the false and the true of the false.
