A father trying to rescue his daughter is caught in an endless loop: every ninety-seven seconds, time snaps back to where it began. The story starts from a father's love but will not stay inside it: to get her out he must break through that love itself, a turn set off by the daughter, who is set on rescuing a different child. It conveys the hopelessness of grown-ups shut inside a society of disasters, and a thin hope that time remains to act.
