Minnie Panis came into the world nearly four months early in 1984, so fragile the doctors hardly gave her a chance. Twenty-eight years on she is a renowned conceptual artist whose work turns her own existence into an experiment: to get over a breakup she photographs what she throws away and auctions off every possession online, passport included. After an ex publishes secret shots of her asleep in a fashion magazine, she pays him, under a notarised agreement, to shadow her for three weeks. Then, just before her most radical piece, old memories return.
