El lunes nos querrán

The narrator is seventeen and wants to be free to work out what happiness means for her, but home is a confined world, and leaving it will cost a great deal. Things change when she befriends a girl from the same background whose parents live their culture loosely, and who already has the life she wants. Watching her friend meet the first tests of a woman's life with confidence, she starts to follow, facing the limits set by her sex, her class and where her family comes from.
