मिलजुल मन

Mogra looks back on growing up with her sister Gul in a Jain household in Delhi, ruled by a delicate mother, a short-tempered grandfather and a meddling neighbourhood. When Gul leaves school for college, Jugi Chacha, their father's loud, generous stepbrother, comes to live with them and changes the family in ways both happy and painful. Part novel, part portrait of the author's own sister, a writer, the story is told in an argumentative, conversational voice that keeps questioning how a life can be turned into fiction.
