Lucemburská zahrada

A typing error on his computer leads Paul, who teaches philosophy at a Paris lycée, to files left behind by Professor Ross, who has recently died. One of them is an unfinished story called "Return from the Other Side" whose dialogue is in Yggur, a language Ross invented. Paul drops almost everything to decode it, and the effort makes him hear French, his own language, as if from outside, with fresh colour and melody. Meanwhile a tangle of stories unfolds around him: an affair with Claire, his wife's revenge, a reconciliation and a return to ordinary life, amid exotic places, hallucinations and strange characters, animatronic puppets included.
