Esperadme en el cielo

After her death, the narrator finds Terenci Moix and Manuel Vázquez Montalbán, her late friends, waiting for her. In the afterlife the three can be anywhere at once and step back into earlier years: the streets of Barcelona's Raval after the war, a Madrid park, Alexandria, the Hollywood of their childhood fantasies and the local cinemas where those fantasies began. One rule binds them, that the dead cannot interfere with the living, and a serious dilemma will test it.
