وراء الفردوس

Salma, an editor at a literary paper, wants to shed a past heavy with painful memories. She starts a novel about her well-off family in the Egyptian countryside, its loves, its bodies, its shifts between classes, its madness, and as she writes she splits in two: one self watching and telling, the other digging into what lies buried.
