Fáze jedné ženy

A village funeral, a literary tour of Great Britain, a study rented in the house of a French countess, a Christmas stay on an island, a Christmas party in Lyon: these are some of the starting points of nineteen stories. They reflect particular situations and states in the life of a woman, focusing on grown-up heroines who go through relationships and their breakdowns, motherhood and ageing, in different countries and settings. Love stands on one side and death on the other; they draw closer and intertwine, and the woman matures and becomes a whole person.
