Натюрморт с мъже

Three dozen ironic, darkly funny stories about the strange and inexplicable side of people, in three parts. In the first, characters land in unfamiliar situations: a trip through France as a pauper, a nouveau riche's son kidnapped by imaginary aliens, a polyglot and a sensei who refuse to play by the rules, a judge who decides the world need not be pushed towards correctness. The second turns to beings beyond the everyday: girls ready to get pregnant on a bet, a prisoner who is always innocent, an emigrant diving into Soho, aliens in the bodies of sheep sent to a bishop. The third is all explosive comedy, with a mother in labour who is a national sex symbol, a culinary vagabond and a man who gets a new wife through a transplant.
