The heroine has known sadness that hurts the chest, a suffocating lack of understanding from others, and loneliness so deep she did not want to live. Brought to the edge, she ends up in the locked ward of a psychiatric hospital, and there she begins her own struggle to find hope, joy and herself again. The book is a confession about falling and the hope of rising, the story of one fragile self fighting against itself, and of a single choice.
