Milla

Milla, twenty-one, longs to live like an ordinary girl but feels the coming summer may be her last. In three decisive weeks in May love comes and goes, her many letters to her grandmother go unanswered, she sees Reykjavík spring evenings from the air, and at work she records material for a museum of the ordinary Icelandic family, while in her garden grows a tree no one else can see.
