Dave Han flies as an ordinary passenger, though his body is packed with swallowed drugs. The story moves between his talk with the American beside him and memories drifting through his mind. Each small event in the cabin leaves it unclear whether it is part of a plan to get the cargo through or plain chance, and every one tightens his fear.
