Iné myšlienky

Unconnected short stories share an atmosphere and a focus on family and partner relationships, seen through daughters, partners, wives and mothers. A young girl in her first relationship feels it should not look like this; a mother tyrannizes her daughter with food, and a daughter her mother; an expat in Italy is forbidden to talk to the locals; a mistress wishes she had quite different thoughts; a lower-secondary teacher goes on facing her pupils; old men stare at little girls in the street and on trams; and a psychiatrist can probably imagine it all. Plot recedes behind the flow of thoughts, memories and inner unrest.
