Peachez, een romance

An elderly Latin scholar hopes to mark his retirement by organising a symposium on Tertullian, the Church Father who held that faith rests on absurdity. Then, by what looks like chance, he begins exchanging emails with someone calling herself Sarah Peachez, supposedly a Las Vegas bartender who models on the side. Intrigued, then besotted, he conquers his terror of planes and flies off to meet her in some tropical idyll, never suspecting he is smuggling drugs. He relates it all from a cell in Argentina, perhaps his home for good.
