With the trains stopped by a strike, Zacharias offers Aleka and Olga a ride home and starts flirting. Both women have husbands, yet the attention pleases them, and they will lead him to Vivi. He adores women; yet what is he after, and is he serious about a wedding? Over half a year we share the slow days of ordinary people in Faliro, Kallithea, Tavros and Moschato, people who are ridiculous and sad together, stuck and making do, and who get worked up over matters great and trivial.
