Υπουργός Νύχτας

A lonely adventurer and card player climbs through a society of collapsed institutions, masks, conventions and lies. First he becomes a respectable professional, owner of a funeral parlour, and behind that front he sinks into the deep underworld, taking over a gang that controls nearly all the night's dark trade, trafficking, drugs, loan-sharking, prostitution and antiquities smuggling, and earning the title 'minister of the night'. From there he enters a tainted political class and rises fast to the top of the government, presenting himself as a saviour. Only a blind, difficult love for an angelic prostitute threatens to divert his course.
