Γιακαράντες

Dimitris Bakalbasis is a software engineer at one of the world's largest social media companies, and has recently started seeing a psychologist to manage his anxiety, which even an AI chatbot cannot soothe. Something that at first looks like fake news turns out to be real: more and more people, mostly young, are succumbing to a total, inexplicable exhaustion, his flatmate among them. Dimitris looks for a way to stay functional, but as his mind falters and the world keeps turning as if nothing were happening, he seeks any way out that might bring relief. A story about everything we do to distract ourselves from an at times unbearable reality.
