The Christmas Eve celebrations are over and Eva, still high on the night's club and an intense embrace in a bathroom, is going back to her safe, well-ordered existence. On the way she loses her bearings in a district unknown to her and becomes aware of something waiting in the empty roads: under the holiday decorations lies a hidden capital that sucks her in. Appearances deceive, and soon her routine, her friends and her love life begin to fall apart. Through the night she is steered by a witty streetwalker, a burglar with a philosophical bent who falls for the people he robs, an old music lover and a girl with a limp and a generous heart.
