Nadohvat

Many years later, two sisters, Katarina and Julijana, return to their native Banija to see the land the communist authorities took from them. The visit sends Katarina back to 1942 and her wartime childhood, and she tells her own and her family's story as it moved from Banija to Zagreb and on to Slavonia. Told in order, like a private diary, it is threaded with love in several directions: for her sister and family, for Petar, whom she never stopped missing, and for Banija.
