Rimlar hugans

Early in 2002 a writer receives a letter from a remand prisoner at Litla-Hraun, who tells him his story and thanks him for books that meant much to him in prison. Three years later their paths cross: the prisoner is just out of jail, the writer just out of treatment for alcoholism. As they compare notes, the love story of the prisoner Einar Þór and his girlfriend Eva comes to life, two people caught up in drugs and fighting to set their lives right, while the writer also confronts himself with rare candour.
