Pulverkopf

Decades after the war, Międzyrzecz, once German Meseritz, is still full of ghosts and stories told only at home, in lowered voices. Teenage Patryk Werhunt finds a neighbour's body in the river Obra and falls under suspicion. From there the tangled fates of Poles, Jews, Germans and Soviets unfold, led by a search for the truth about the composer Norbert von Hannenheim.
