Slepi potnik

Urban Franc once served in the French Foreign Legion and drifted at sea; now he lives in a basement flat and works as a caretaker at the opera house in Ljubljana. A dreamer who cannot settle, he wears himself out in relationships with women who are as lost as he is, while his real desire is fixed on Kristina Lavrenčak. His love is constantly clouded by the debris of the world around him, by memories of his mother and his childhood, and by a hunger to possess others. Drawn into intrigues for lack of anything better, and seeking forgiveness in a Catholic sect, he moves closer to the only tool his short military career taught him: violence.
