Eight stories follow characters who both belong and do not belong to this world, mostly women between twenty and thirty, some older, whose difference lies in their sexuality or in the way they live. They move through cafés, a village cottage, rented flats and a psychiatric ward, in Bratislava, Tbilisi or a village in eastern Slovakia. Their adventures are everyday ones: trips, life at home and in shared flats, adopting animals, starting relationships. Exploring their own otherness and that of others, they hope it will make talking easier and bring them closer, which does not always happen.
