Bilangan Fu

Yuda is a rock climber and gambler who mocks the values of the society around him. Parang Jati is a young man with twelve fingers, raised by his foster father to bear the sorrows of the world. Marja is a young woman of great energy. The three are drawn into a tender love triangle amid hard experiences that begin with a strange event, a dead man rising from his grave, and lead to a struggle to save the limestone hills of southern Java from destruction. Along the way the mysterious 'fu number' slowly reveals itself. The novel weighs spirituality, religion and mysticism with both respect and a critical eye.
