A cellist stands at Slussen in Malmö, waiting for the rest of his ensemble, his life calm for now. An unexpected run-in with a young man living on the streets breaks something open. A flood of voices, recollections and languages he had lost rushes into his head and takes control, a ceaseless current in which now is split in two, carrying stories of hardship and brutality, drugs and fellowship.
